Can I take Viagra without recommendation of a specialist?

As any other prescription medicine, it is better to not take Viagra without prior consultation with your therapist.

Viagra refers to the drugs which are distributed strictly by prescription, because it is a serious drug that is intended not to increase virility but to normalize the mechanisms that lead to erectile dysfunction. Moreover, Viagra may cause some side effects. The vast majority of these adverse reactions usually do not pose a serious risk to human health and are temporary, yet only a doctor can assess their risk for a certain patient.

In addition, Pfizer as manufacturer of Viagra is responsible for the development of side effects in patients. However, the responsibility of Pfizer can only have place if the patient is taking the medication as directed by physician, i.e. there is a documented proof (medical records, etc.). Therefore, even if close friends advise you to try Viagra without prior medical advice - refuse!
